Gutar Hero Throws Out The Plastic?

Although I have played all of the guitar hero games and own a fair number of them I cant say it has ever inspired me to play.
The digital guitar is coming soon and it can acess the guitar hero game without cables and plugs, it can also be attached to the ipod meaning that you can rock out to some of your favourites without anyone hearing. This is going to be great for all of those people that love playing guitar hero but really want to get playing the real thing.
Something like this may also start to encourage artists to put more of their songs into the game as currently many refuse to simply because they would rather people play the real thing. As you can now do both the artists really do not have much to moan about anymore.
These guitars never need tuning either because they are digital which means any guitarist can just pick one of these up and start rocking to their favourite tunes and there are so many different modes on this guitar that anything is possible and it can of course be used as a real guitar if you are in a band. Although I do not think that people are just goign to drop their guitars and buy one of these I would say that if you are unsure you should at least give it a go to see what you think.
They already do many other digital instruments such as drum kits and they haven’t really kicked off at all, it really remains to be seen if this will kick off a trend and bands will start using these instead of other guitars.
Personally I don’t think it feels the same as owning your own proper guitar and belongs with other electronic instruments like the DJ equipment.

For the console fans and guitar hero fans that didn’t hear about the new upcoming console game from Activision, there is only one message: “Get out from under your rock”. The new exciting game in the hero series, a series that sold millions and gave the pleasure of playing the guitar to music illiterates, this time will simulate, instead of a guitar player, a DJ and will allow the player to rock the dance floor and become a real DJ hero.
I’ve long thought that Hip Hop and Rap has gotten the short end of the stick from Videogames. It seems like we’ve played videogames with Rappers doing absolutely everything EXCEPT making Hip Hop. We have played Rapper in videogames based on pimped cars, Wrestling, GTA like games, and Fiddy as a super hero taking out terrorists. There have been rap songs in music games like Rock Band, Lips and SingStar. There has been plenty of Hip Hop in video game soundtracks but there has not actually been a hit game about making Hip Hop music besides Parappa the Rappa on PSOne. Hip Hop has been a major force in popular western culture for the past three decades. It is about damn time that we see a game about playing Hip Hop and Electronica.
The game will not only provide an normal Wii game like others, you will also get your own turntable where you will perform and play the game. If you remember the Guitar Hero you got a guitar. The famous Activision claims that the game is pretty much live remixing of popular songs across genres which is pretty good as we expect. Now you can and thanks to Activision this game will give you all this and much more. The info is still short and the news also, but as we look the DJ Hero Wii game will contain all features like every DJ needs to have on its turntable.
