A Hunter can be fun to play and he is famous for having a pet with him while the Hunter himself takes out enemies from a distance. When you start playing you will have to do it all yourself but once you reach level 10 you will get a quest which will eventually make you able to tame beasts.
Once you have a pet at your side you will see that leveling a Hunter is a real piece of cake. You can send in your pet to attack a target while you yourself just stand at range and fire several shots with your bow, gun or crossbow to deal some extra damage. Next to the tame beasts ability a Hunter can make a lot more nice attacks and as quite a few tricks up his sleeve. Click here to watch the video WoW Hunter
They can also make traps which can freeze, slow or deal damage which are triggered when an enemy gets close. These traps make playing a Hunter even easier even though you can only have one trap active. Next to traps, the Hunter can Feign Death when it gets too warm under his feet because by doing this, he will act like dead which makes the enemies turn back to their position.
You probably understand that a Hunter is great for solo playing but they are however also a great asset to any raid or group in both PvE and PvP. Because of the boosts they get through their talent trees and the traps they can place they are very strong in any situation. The Hunter’s controllable pet adds to the overall damage and it can also tank or offtank in certain situations.
This all while the Hunter deals amazing amounts of damage with ranged damage and he is even able to Misdirect his threat to the tank. If Misdirect is done the tank has less worries when it comes to keeping threat which enables the healers to just heal the tank in most cases and the DPSers will not have to worry about overaggroing. Because there are many Hunters out there however, it is nice to be one of the better ones because the competition is hard.

Because there are so many people playing a Hunter it might be hard for you to find slots in a party or raid and this is the reason why it would be great if you can find a nice guild where you can have fun with in raids, dungeons, arenas and battle grounds. Because of the competition it is nice to be a good Hunter and that is why you should find a talent build that makes you perform well in groups. The Hunter’s talent trees are called Survival, Marksmanship and Beast Mastery.
It is well known by most that the Beast Mastery talent tree is great for leveling purposes. Because you can stand back and fire your gun or bow your pet will be taking the hits. Besides a Beast Master you will also get access to talents that will make you run faster which will also allow you to level faster.
A Marksmanship Hunter will obtain new shots and stings through his or her talent tree which increases the damage output. The Marksmanship talent build is often used by raiding Hunters. Because the Survival built makes the Hunter tougher and improves his traps it is great for PvP.
You will receive more Stamina and avoidance with this talent tree. On top of that he receives a few shots like Shatter shot and Explosive Shot which are great in PvP.
