Game Copy Software - How To Copy Games

It is possible to copy and play your PS1 games with very few modifications to your system. In order to do so you will only need a computer with a CD burner. The old PS1 games can be read directly by most computer systems out there. Once you have done that you simply need to take the files off of the CD and re copy them back onto a blank one. Mount the CD with some kind of software like Daemon to extract the information off, then use a program like Nero to burn the ISO back on. Once this is the disks will not play on Playstation. In order to make the system be able to read the disks you are going to need to put a mod chip on it. For the most part these can be found easily and cheaply these days. Once the chip is on you can read off of any burned CD and will have defeated the security system on the PS1. Be careful though as playing illegally downloaded games can carry a stiff penalty. If you are using the mode chip and disks to play games you own you will be fine. It is only in the case of games that you do not have the license for that you will run into problems. I used this to breath life back into the collection of severely scratche and damaged disks that I have. By modding the PS1 and getting copies of the games I can now play all the old games that had become un playable because of the scratches and damage.
